Full Job Description

OVERVIEW

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to help keep our daily paperwork, sales reports, invoices, and C-store inventory records organized across multiple locations. Applicants must have availability Monday - Friday between 9AM - 5PM. This role can be adjusted from 30-40 hours per week.

This is a hands-on, location-based role. You will work across our Natick, Needham, and Wellesley locations on a set weekly schedule. Your main responsibility will be entering information into our Excel tracking sheets, checking for missing or incorrect information, and communicating with location managers to resolve basic discrepancies.

This role does not involve payroll or bank access.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Enter invoice information into Excel tracking sheets
Enter daily sales report information into Excel tracking sheets
Track and update C-store inventory counts
Organize invoices, receipts, sales reports, and inventory paperwork by location and date
Follow up with location managers when information is missing or unclear
Flag obvious errors, duplicate invoices, missing reports, or mismatched totals
Maintain a simple missing-documents log
Keep vendor names and categories consistent in the tracking sheets
Provide a brief weekly update on completed work, missing items, and any issues found

Requirements

Strong attention to detail
Basic bookkeeping, data entry, or administrative experience preferred
Comfortable using Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
Organized and reliable
Able to communicate clearly with managers at each location
Comfortable working independently once trained
Prior experience with invoices, retail inventory, POS reports, or auto repair/gas station businesses is a plus, but not required

This position will pay between $18 - $25/hour depending on experience and skill level.

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
