Supply Chain Manager

$90,000 - $110,000/year

Are you ready to lead procurement strategy for a growing architectural products business? Trulite is looking for a strategic Supply Chain Manager to join our team!

The Supply Chain Manager will lead procurement operations for our Architectural Products division, overseeing a team of buyers who manage tactical purchasing across 30+ locations. This role will drive cost optimization initiatives and cultivate strategic supplier partnerships that support our continued growth.

You hold yourself and your team to high standards, and you know how to coach, mentor, and develop talent along the way. Above all, you bring a continuous improvement mindset and genuinely enjoy solving problems that impact the bottom line.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

Lead, mentor, and develop a team of buyers responsible for day-to-day purchasing activities
Establish clear performance metrics and accountability standards
Build team capabilities through coaching, training, and succession planning
Foster cross-functional collaboration across all locations
Develop and execute comprehensive sourcing strategies for aluminum, hardware, various indirect categories, and related materials
Lead supplier selection, evaluation, and onboarding processes
Negotiate master agreements, pricing structures, and contract terms
Conduct market analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
Drive standardization and consolidation of purchasing across locations
Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with key suppliers
Conduct regular supplier performance reviews
Manage supplier issues, escalations, and continuous improvement initiatives
Ensure supply continuity and develop contingency plans for critical materials
Collaborate with suppliers on innovation, quality improvements, and cost reduction
Develop and achieve annual cost savings targets
Identify and execute cost reduction and avoidance opportunities
Analyze total cost of ownership across the supply base
Track, report, and validate savings initiatives
Implement inventory management strategies to balance service levels with carrying costs
Establish appropriate stock levels, reorder points, and safety stock parameters
Reduce excess and obsolete inventory across all locations
Collaborate with operations teams to improve demand planning and forecasting
Monitor DIO (days inventory outstanding) and working capital metrics
Optimize procurement processes for efficiency and compliance
Leverage ERP and procurement systems to drive visibility and control
Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs)
Ensure compliance with purchasing policies, procedures, and internal controls
Lead continuous improvement initiatives using data-driven insights
Partner with operations, finance, quality, and sales teams
Support new location openings and business expansion initiatives
Provide supply chain expertise for strategic business decisions
Communicate regularly with senior leadership on supply chain performance

SKILLS YOU BRING

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field
Minimum 2 years of experience within the Heavy Glass and/or Architectural Aluminum space as an estimator, project manager, or technical lead
Strong leadership and team development skills
Excellent negotiation and supplier relationship management abilities
Analytical mindset with experience in cost savings and total cost of ownership analysis
Familiarity with ERP and procurement systems
Strong cross-functional communication and collaboration skills
