Full Job Description

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Store Manager to oversee daily operations in a bakery cafe environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive hospitality management experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role is hands-on and focuses on driving strong front-of-house execution while supporting the team during busy periods. Salary will be based on the experience.

Duties

Spend the majority of your time on the floor during peak hours, actively supporting the team and ensuring smooth service.
Lead by example to deliver excellent guest experience and hospitality.
Keep the store looking sharp at all times by driving daily cleaning, organization, and presentation standards.
Ensure all displays stay full, fresh, and visually appealing throughout the day.
Restock cakes, pastries, and breads as needed, including slicing and labeling loaf bread promptly when items run out.
Monitor online orders, print them on time, and route them to the correct department without delay.
Check product quality before anything goes into the display and remove items that do not meet standards.
Watch for items that sell out early and communicate trends to support proper production planning.
Manage all store ordering in coordination with the Kitchen Manager.
Maintain appropriate inventory levels for ingredients, packaging, and front-of-house supplies.
Receive, verify, and properly store all deliveries to ensure accuracy and quality.
Supervise and coach front-of-house staff to ensure consistent service and adherence to brand standards.
Assist with preparing weekly staff schedules and managing shift coverage.
Train new hires on POS, service standards, and daily routines.
Handle cash securely, including opening/closing procedures and proper use of the safe.
Address guest concerns professionally and escalate issues when needed.
Communicate equipment, POS, or facility issues promptly to management.
Ensure compliance with operational, cleanliness, and brand standards at all times.

Experience managing Store operations in a bakery, café, or similar environment.
Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
Ability to stay organized, multitask, and remain calm during busy hours.
A hands-on manager who enjoys working on the floor and supporting the team.
Commitment to cleanliness, product presentation, and a positive guest experience.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
