Full Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a Welder/Fabricator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and assembling metal components according to detailed blueprints and technical drawings. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about metal fabrication and construction. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong mechanical knowledge, excellent craftsmanship, and a proactive attitude to meet project deadlines with precision and efficiency.

Duties

Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately fabricate and assemble metal components.
Perform various welding techniques including MIG (Metal Inert Gas), FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), and SMAW (Shielded Metal Arc Welding) in accordance with AWS (American Welding Society) standards.
Use hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, and other fabrication equipment to cut, shape, and assemble metal and structural components
Operate rigging equipment and forklifts safely for material handling and assembly tasks on construction sites or within fabrication shops.

Qualifications

experience working on construction sites or within fabrication shops involving metal fabrication and welding tasks.
Proficiency in MIG, FCAW, SMAW welding techniques with demonstrated ability to meet AWS standards.
Strong understanding of blueprint reading, schematic interpretation, shop math, and mechanical blueprint interpretation.
Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and other fabrication equipment.
welding and fabrication processes; familiarity with welding requirements is a plus.
Ability to interpret technical drawings accurately for assembly or fabrication purposes
Physical capability to stand for extended periods; comfortable working at heights or in confined spaces if required
