About the Position
I am looking for a highly organized, dependable Administrative Assistant to help support several growing ventures, including a residential real estate business, a Christian nonprofit and retreat center located in Howell, an upcoming book launch, and general business operations.
This is not a traditional administrative role where every day looks the same. One week may include helping prepare for an Open House and sending out mailers and postcards, the next may involve coordinating retreat center donor and church visits, researching a new project, helping with social media, or assisting with marketing for my book launch.

What You’ll Do
Real Estate Marketing and Client Support
You will help support the marketing and day-to-day operations of a real estate business.
Responsibilities may include:
- Design and coordinate “Just Listed” and “Just Sold” postcard mailings
- Prepare and stuff neighborhood mailers for targeted buyer and seller outreach
- Assist with planning, preparing, and setting up Open Houses
- Complete post Open House follow-up tasks
- Assist with creating and scheduling social media content
- Assist with miscellaneous real estate marketing and administrative tasks and projects
- Format, publish, and maintain website content and blog posts to support real estate marketing efforts
Retreat Center and Nonprofit Support
You will assist with the continued development of a Christian retreat center and nonprofit organization.
Responsibilities may include:
- Coordinate meetings and maintain calendars
- Research vendors, retreat centers, and ministry resources
- Communicate with churches, volunteers, vendors, and contractors
- Schedule meetings and walk throughs with contractors and interested parties at the physical location
- Assist with fundraising and special events
- Help organize retreat planning and operational systems
Book Launch and Marketing Support
You will assist with the launch of an upcoming book and related marketing efforts.
Responsibilities may include:
- Research podcasts, bookstores, churches, and other opportunities for reach and growth efforts
- Assist with launch event planning
- Help coordinate marketing campaigns
- Schedule social media content
- Organize promotional materials
- Assist with outreach and follow-up communication
General Administrative Support
Responsibilities may include:
- Manage calendars and appointments
- Organize Google Drive and digital files
- Conduct online research
- Create spreadsheets and organize information
- Maintain project checklists and task lists
- Assist with special projects as needed
- Maintain website content and ensure blog posts are published accurately and consistently across business ventures

Position Details
- Part-time position
- 10-15 hours per week
- Flexible schedule
- Combination of remote work and occasional in-person work in the Howell/Brighton areas
- Immediate start preferred
- Expected to continue through September/October 2026, with the opportunity to reassess for continued employment beyond that time
- Opportunity for additional hours as responsibilities grow
