Full Job Description

Are you a detail-oriented professional who also loves connecting with people? Our eye care practice is looking for a Patient Coordinator who brings the perfect mix of precision and warmth to our team. In this role, you're the anchor of our office — the friendly face our patients look forward to seeing, and the organized powerhouse who keeps our schedules and records perfectly on track.

We've built this role around routine and clarity. You'll always know what a great day looks like here: clear protocols, steady expectations, and a team that values doing things right over doing things fast.

What You'll Do:

Coordinate the Patient Experience: Manage the daily flow of the clinic, ensuring patients are checked in accurately, welcomed warmly, and moved through their appointments on time.
Professional Problem-Solving: Serve as the primary, friendly point of contact for patient inquiries — from scheduling to resolving concerns with a calm, helpful, objective approach.
Insurance & Records Coordination: Monitor the schedule to identify which insurance authorizations are needed, alert the insurance team of pending tasks, and help pull vision coverage so every patient file is ready and accurate before their visit.
Process Management: Follow and uphold established office protocols to ensure a consistent, high-quality experience for patients and staff alike.

A typical day might start with confirming tomorrow's insurance authorizations, checking patients in as they arrive, and keeping the front desk running like clockwork — all before lunch.
