Key Responsibilities

Create and update 2D models, drawings, and engineering documentation for new product development and existing product maintenance.
Modify existing designs and develop new solutions based on customer specifications and project requirements.
Communicate directly with customers to adapt designs and drawings to meet unique needs.
Collaborate with the engineering team to develop innovative concepts and product improvements.
Analyze job orders, blueprints, and specifications to ensure designs are compatible with manufacturing equipment, tooling, and production processes.
Participate in CNC machine trial runs or simulations to verify manufacturability and product quality.
Work with cross-functional teams to implement engineering changes and optimize designs for production.
Provide regular project updates and technical support to management throughout the design process.
Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.

What You'll Bring

Proficiency with AutoCAD and strong experience creating and modifying 2D drawings.
Experience with AlphaCAM and EnRoute is highly preferred.
CNC programming or machine operation experience is a plus.
Excellent documentation skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to read blueprints and use basic math and measuring tools accurately.
Customer-focused mindset with the ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a willingness to adapt to changing priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience writing machine-level instructions and revising existing CNC programs.
Demonstrated initiative in learning new technologies, software, and design techniques.
