Full Job Description

About the Role

We're looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join a growing team. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career who's ready to take on real responsibility, expand their skill set, and grow within a supportive environment. Responsibilities

Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
Prepare and post journal entries with appropriate supporting documentation
Reconcile general ledger accounts and investigate variances
Support accounts payable functions
Assist in the preparation of financial statements and internal reports
Help maintain and improve accounting processes and documentation
Collaborate with team members across departments to gather financial data
Support external audits and tax preparation as needed

What We're Looking For

1-3 years of accounting experience (public or private)
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
Solid understanding of general accounting principles (GAAP)
Proficiency in Excel; experience with accounting software a plus
Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Good communicator who works well in a team setting
Eagerness to learn and grow - we invest in people who are hungry to develop
