Full Job Description

We are seeking new team members to join our staff as Dog Day Care & Boarding Attendants.
In addition to our normal Daycare and Boarding services, we have professional trainers on staff and offer a variety of training services to our clients. Candidates should be willing to learn and implement training and behavior management techniques.

We are currently interviewing for 1 Part time and 1 full time position as well as summer help.

Some weekend hours are required for all staff members (Approx 5-6 hours every other weekend, but may require additional hours depending on need). In addition we have some night time hours available (8PM to approx 9:30 PM). Our starting pay rate is $17.00, with raises given based on performance, attendance and effort. Our night pay rate is $20 per hour.

These positions will be responsible for:
-Supervising and interacting with groups of dogs in a daycare setting (once trained enough to do so)
-Cleaning up after the dogs throughout shift, as well as other cleaning duties such as cleaning and sanitizing kennels after Boarders leave, cleaning and sanitizing the playrooms, vacuuming, mopping, etc. (Cleaning is a large part of this job)
-Taking care of boarding dogs (taking out to potty and play, feeding, giving meds, etc)
-Providing stimulation & enrichment activities for the dogs in our care

Qualifications:
-Must be extremely reliable, punctual and maintain a good attendance record. Must also be responsible, have a good work ethic and be a team player.
-Must love dogs!
-Should be comfortable working with all different sizes and breeds of dogs
-Must be able to lift 40 lbs, and be on your feet/ walking for all or most of shift
-Experience working with dogs in a group setting is preferred, but we will train the right person if they are extremely motivated and have a very strong, reliable work ethic

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
