Practice Radiology in a Setting Designed for Stability

St. Joseph’s Imaging Associates is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to join our established Northeast Medical Center in Fayetteville, NY.

This opportunity offers a structured daytime schedule, no call requirements, and a professional outpatient environment built around efficiency, teamwork, and patient-focused care.

Our outpatient model allows technologists to focus on delivering high-quality imaging without rotating shifts or unexpected schedule changes.

Position Overview

The Radiologic Technologist performs diagnostic imaging examinations in accordance with ARRT standards, NYS regulations, and organizational protocols.

In this role, you will:

Perform routine and specialized diagnostic radiology procedures
Prepare and educate patients prior to examinations
Position patients accurately to ensure diagnostic-quality imaging
Operate radiographic equipment safely and efficiently
Review images for quality and proper patient identification
Maintain ALARA radiation safety standards
Complete required documentation and uphold HIPAA compliance

This position emphasizes precision, professionalism, and patient experience within a well-supported clinical team.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
Current ARRT registration in Radiography or registry eligible
Registry-eligible candidates must obtain certification within six months
BLS certification required within 90 days of hire
1 to 3 years of experience preferred
Outpatient imaging experience preferred

Schedule & Compensation

Full-Time, Part-Time, and Per Diem options available
Competitive compensation aligned with experience and credentials
Non-Exempt position
Predictable daytime outpatient schedule

Work Environment

Professional outpatient imaging center
Ability to stand for extended periods
Ability to assist patients up to 50 pounds with or without accommodation
Compliance with radiation safety and infection prevention standards
