Project Manager - Asbestos Abatement & Selective Demolition

About the Opportunity

An established environmental services contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee asbestos abatement and selective demolition projects from planning through closeout.

We're looking for someone who is organized, accountable, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple projects while coordinating field teams, customers, schedules, compliance, and project financials.

Key Responsibilities

Manage asbestos abatement and selective demolition projects from startup through closeout.
Review scopes, contracts, estimates, specifications, schedules, and project requirements.
Coordinate manpower, equipment, materials, subcontractors, and project schedules.
Communicate effectively with customers, general contractors, consultants, field teams, and leadership.
Monitor project budgets, labor, costs, schedules, and profitability.
Identify scope changes, coordinate change orders, and provide accurate information for billing.
Ensure field teams understand project scope, expectations, and priorities.
Visit jobsites to monitor progress, quality, safety, and customer expectations.
Ensure required project documentation, regulatory requirements, notifications, and closeout items are completed accurately and on time.
Proactively identify and resolve project issues while following through on commitments.

What We're Looking For

Project management experience in asbestos abatement, environmental remediation, demolition, construction, or a related industry.
Asbestos-specific experience strongly preferred.
Knowledge of construction scopes, plans/specifications, scheduling, and job costing.
Strong organization, communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
Ability to lead and work effectively with field personnel, customers, contractors, and consultants.
Strong sense of accountability and follow-through.
Valid driver's license and ability to travel to jobsites within the service area.
Relevant asbestos, OSHA, supervisor, or environmental certifications are a plus.
