Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Civil Designer specializing in Land Development to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating comprehensive land development plans, designing site layouts, and preparing detailed drawings that support residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Your expertise will help transform concepts into actionable construction-ready designs, ensuring compliance with local regulations and industry standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to impactful projects while honing your technical skills in a collaborative environment.

Duties

Develop detailed civil design drawings for land development projects using AutoCAD.
Prepare site plans, grading plans, drainage layouts, utility schematics, and stormwater management designs to meet project specifications.
Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and clients to refine design concepts and ensure alignment with project goals.
Review construction documents and schematics to ensure clarity and precision prior to submission.
Assist in the review of regulatory compliance documents and coordinate with permitting agencies throughout the approval process.

Skills

Proficiency in AutoCAD for drafting and design.
Knowledge of civil engineering principles including grading systems, drainage design, utilities layout, and stormwater management.
Familiarity with construction processes and technical documentation such as schematics and system design drawings.
Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately while adhering to safety standards.
