Full Job Description

Must hold current certification in echocardiography as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) via ARDMS or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) via CCI. A minimum of 1 year of experience as an Echo Tech required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Seeking an experienced professional with a focus in cardiac imaging to deliver high-quality echocardiographic services in a dynamic healthcare setting. This contract opportunity is ideal for a detail-oriented Echo Tech skilled in both performing and evaluating echocardiograms to assist in patient diagnosis and care.

Qualifications:

Certification as an Echo Technologist (e.g., ARDMS or CCI)
Proven experience in imaging—particularly echocardiography
Proficiency in operating ultrasound equipment and interpreting results
Strong understanding of cardiac anatomy and physiology
Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate patient records
Familiarity with safety and infection control practices within healthcare environments
Ability to collaborate seamlessly with physicians, nurses, and other medical staff
BLS certification (current)

Responsibilities:

Perform echocardiographic studies on patients as ordered by physicians
Capture high-quality images and video for diagnostic use
Analyze and summarize findings for review by interpreting physicians
Maintain equipment and ensure proper functioning
Document procedures, findings, and relevant patient information accurately in electronic medical records
Adhere to departmental protocols and ensure patient comfort and safety throughout examinations
Communicate effectively with patients to explain procedures and answer questions

$2,399 - $2,530/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
