Account Specialist & Sales Support Associate
Pacific Box Company – Tacoma, WA
Full-Time | Day Shift | On-Site
$23.00 – $25.00 per hour

Pacific Box Company is seeking a reliable and detail-driven Account Specialist & Sales Support Associate to support our manufacturing operations, sales team and front office needs. This role is a critical link between customers, sales, production, and logistics while also serving as the first point of contact for visitors and incoming calls. The ideal candidate is organized, responsive, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing and office setting.

Key Responsibilities

Answer and direct incoming calls in a professional manner
Greet visitors, customers and vendors; direct them appropriately
Handle basic front office tasks such as mail distribution, filing, and general administrative support
Accurately enter and manage customer orders in internal systems
Partner with sales representatives to support quotes, order processing and follow-up
Communicate order status, lead times, and delays to customers and sales proactively
Coordinate with production, scheduling, and shipping to meet commitments
Resolve order discrepancies, product issues and delivery concerns with urgency
Maintain accurate customer records, pricing and order history
Support onboarding of new customers and ensure a smooth order-to-delivery experience
Other customer service duties as assigned

Qualifications

Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
1-3 years of customer service or administrative experience in an office environment (manufacturing or distribution preferred)
Comfortable handing phones, greeting visitors, and managing front desk duties
Strong data entry accuracy and attention to detail
Experience supporting sales teams, quoting or handling of pricing is a plus
Strong communication skills and professional presence
Ability to stay organized and manage multiple tasks
Experience with Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook, Word
Reliable, consistent, and self-motivated
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Comfortable working independently or as part of a team

Pay and Benefits

$23.00-25.00 per hour (DOE)
