South Puget Sound Neurology and Integrative Headache Center
Tacoma, WA | Outpatient Only | 4‑Day Workweek Typical

South Puget Sound Neurology and Integrative Headache Center is a headache‑predominant neurology practice built around compassionate, patient‑centered care. We believe excellent headache treatment starts with listening and continuity—not volume.

We are seeking a Neurologist (MD/DO) interested in outpatient headache medicine, procedural care, and sustainable practice. Providers with experience in dystonia are preferred, but not required.

About the Role

This is a pure outpatient role focused on migraine and headache disorders, with limited dystonia care related to therapeutic toxin treatment. Our practice model allows neurologists to deliver thoughtful care without inpatient responsibilities or excessive call.

Clinical Scope

Evaluate and manage patients with chronic migraine and complex headache disorders
Perform Botox and other therapeutic neurotoxin injections
Treat select patients with dystonia or related movement disorders
Conduct new patient consultations and manage longitudinal care
Work alongside APPs who independently manage follow‑ups and procedures
No inpatient service, no hospital rounding, no call

Practice Highlights

4‑day clinical workweek typical
5‑day schedules available based on interest, volume, or research involvement
No nights or weekends
Strong administrative and prior‑authorization support
Culture centered on thoughtful, compassionate care

Compensation

Base salary starting around $290,000
Structured productivity incentives (wRVU‑based)
Clear path to >$300,000+ with sustainable productivity
Regular bonus payouts (quarterly)
Benefits, CME allowance, malpractice coverage, and paid time off included
Optional compensated participation in clinical research

Research Opportunities (Optional)

Our clinic participates in select industry‑sponsored trials and outcomes‑based research in headache medicine. Research involvement is optional and structured to complement clinical care.

MD or DO, board‑eligible or board‑certified in Neurology
Interest in headache medicine (fellowship preferred but not required)
Comfort with procedural care
Values patient‑centered, relationship‑driven practice
Interested in long‑term alignment with an independent practice

We are currently a physician‑owned practice exploring the potential evolution to a multi‑physician ownership model as we grow. Long‑term physicians aligned with our values may have future opportunities for ownership participation if and when the structure evolves.
