Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Secretary to join our dynamic legal team. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive administrative support across various practice areas, ensuring the smooth operation of the law office. Your proactive approach and excellent communication skills will help facilitate legal processes, manage case files, and assist attorneys with research and document preparation. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where your expertise will directly contribute to delivering exceptional legal services.

Responsibilities

Manage and organize legal documents, case files, and correspondence using CLIO.
Support Paralegals and Attorneys in various roles.
Coordinate meetings, court dates, and appointments while maintaining calendars for multiple attorneys.
Support project management tasks related to complex legal cases across diverse practice areas such as estate planning, environmental law, family law, securities law, tribal law & regulations, patent law, workers' compensation law, personal injury law, landlord-tenant law, immigration law, and litigation.
Perform administrative duties including data entry, filing, phone etiquette, transcription, proofreading, and maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.

Skills

Extensive experience in legal administrative support.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Exceptional writing skills for drafting legal documents and correspondence with clarity and accuracy.
Demonstrated experience with project management principles within a legal setting.
Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining high attention to detail; experience with data entry and clerical functions is essential.
Strong communication skills coupled with professional phone etiquette for interacting with clients and colleagues alike.
