Full Job Description

Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years Radiology Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Advance your career by utilizing your imaging expertise in a dynamic healthcare environment. This contract opportunity focuses on conducting high-quality diagnostic radiology and X-ray procedures, ensuring the accurate production of images for evaluation of tissues, organs, bones, and vessels. Candidates with advanced training may also assist in the administration of radiation therapy treatments. Adaptability is essential, as this role requires the flexibility to float between facilities as needed.

Schedule:

13-week contract
Night shifts
3x12 hour shifts per week

Key Qualifications:

Valid and current credentials as a Radiology Technician, Radiologic Technologist, or X-ray Tech
Demonstrated experience operating imaging equipment for diagnostic purposes
Ability to produce clear, accurate images according to physician orders
Willingness and capability to float to multiple healthcare locations
Advanced training in radiation therapy a plus, but not mandatory
Strong understanding of safety protocols and infection control measures

Primary Responsibilities:

Prepare, position, and monitor patients during imaging procedures
Operate radiographic equipment to capture diagnostic images
Ensure high-quality results while minimizing patient exposure to radiation
Maintain patient records and document imaging findings in accordance with regulations
Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver accurate, timely diagnostic support
Assist, as trained, with administration of therapeutic radiation treatments
