Full Job Description

Direct hire opening for an Experienced Auto Body Shop Technician for leading automotive company in Tallahassee. Looking for quality individuals for our paint/body shop. Previous body work experience preferred, but its not a must for the right candidate. Applying candidates will be prepping cars for paint, must possess a strong attention to detail, and have good communication skills. As well as willingness to be challenged and continuously learn. We are looking for someone who can be an assistant to our lead painter, can follow directions, & ultimately wants to learn to paint at a high level. Qualifications

· Overall knowledge of vehicles

· One to three or more years of body work/paint experience

· Heavy lifting is required to perform this job

· Have own tools

· Perform or have the ability to learn to disassemble fine automobiles, perform body corrections, panel body fitting, align, use of modern current panel bonding techniques and return a high, paint prep,-quality product to our customers

· Accept training on all methods and equipment available for body corrections for today’s automobiles

· Must be able to wear all safety equipment required by JHCC and OSHA standards (Eye protection, ear protection, gloves, respirator, welding helmet, etc.…)

· Will be required to work with and around high-end vehicles with absolutely zero collateral damage.

· Ability to self-start and maintain a neat and clean work area independently.

· Organize and keep work area free of safety hazards

· Maintain all equipment provided to perform duties as tasked

· Reliable attendance
