Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting principles, and supporting the overall financial health of the organization. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in accounting software.

Responsibilities

Maintain and update financial records.
Perform regular bank and account reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
Prepare and manage budgets, providing insights on variances and trends.
Conduct balance sheet reconciliation to verify asset and liability accounts.
Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports as needed.
Utilize accounting software such as Quickbooks Online/Desktop for efficient record-keeping.
Collaborate with other clients to gather necessary financial information.
Support corporate accounting functions, including accounts payable and receivable.
Ensure compliance with public accounting regulations and internal policies.

Qualifications

Proven experience in bookkeeping or a related field, preferably in public accounting.
Strong understanding of Accounting principles and corporate accounting practices.
Proficient in budgeting, bank reconciliation, and account reconciliation processes.
Familiarity with accounting software, particularly Quickbooks or similar platforms.
Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Strong analytical skills to interpret financial data effectively.
