Social Media Manager — Glove Refresh (Tallahassee, FL)

Hybrid $2,000/month, paid weekly

About Glove Refresh

Glove Refresh is the industry leader in premium baseball glove services — break-ins and relacing, built from a one-man garage operation into a 1,700 sq ft commercial shop in Tallahassee. We ship nationally, and nearly all of our business comes from organic social content. We hold our craftsmanship and brand to a high standard. We're looking for someone who wants to own that standard for our content every single day. We currently have 200k followers across Meta, YouTube, and TikTok. Your goal will be to get that over 1 million.

The Role

We're hiring a Social Media Manager to own our short-form video pipeline from idea to publish. Right now, one person (the owner) creates all of our content. This role takes that off his plate: you'll plan, film, edit, and publish one reel per day across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts. The owner will still help colaborate on content ideas and direction — you own everything from there: shot planning, filming, editing, captions, and posting, plus tracking what's working and adjusting.

This is a hybrid role. You'll be in our Tallahassee shop 1-2 days per week to film — break ins, relaces, behind-the-scenes, and our team. The rest of the work (editing, scheduling, posting, planning) can be done remote.

What You'll Do

Plan and maintain a daily content calendar for 4 platforms (we currently use Notion)
Film in-shop 1-2 days/week — break ins, relaces, behind-the-scenes, team
Edit polished, scroll-stopping short-form video, 7 days/week of output
Publish and manage the posting schedule across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts
Track performance (views, retention, engagement, follower growth) and adjust content based on what's working
Protect a consistent, premium brand voice and visual standard across every post
Take ideas from the owner and run with execution independently

What We're Looking For

A track record of growing a social media page — be ready to show us the account and the numbers
Strong video shooting and editing skills, specifically for short-form / reels
Real marketing instinct — you understand hooks, retention, pacing, and how each platform's algorithm behaves ( The goal is to increase sales, not just make content )
Self-directed — comfortable owning a project end-to-end without close supervision
Reliable transportation to our Tallahassee shop for in-person filming days
Knowledge of or genuine interest in baseball is preferred, not required

Compensation & Schedule

$2,000/month base, paid weekly
Hybrid: 1-2 days/week in our Tallahassee, FL shop; remote for editing, planning, and posting
Room to grow as the role proves out and the business scales

Pay: From $500.00 per week

Work Location: In person
