Essential technical skills:
You are comfortable working across various software platforms and are able to adapt to and learn new technologies quickly. You are able to multitask, ensure accurate priorities, and use project management skills to ensure your work product is delivered on deadline and to meet quality specifications.
Photo and Video Production: You possess strong proficiency in photo and video pre-production, production, and post-production processes. You are proficient in the use of audio/visual equipment and demonstrate knowledge of videography and photography best practices.
Adobe Creative Suite and Canva: Strong proficiency in photo and video editing techniques using Adobe PhotoShop, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Lightroom and Adobe After Effects. You are able to generate graphics to complement multimedia projects using PhotoShop, Adobe Illustrator or Canva.
Microsoft Suite: Strong working knowledge in Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint and PowerPoint.
Content writing and editing: Proficiency in journalistic writing style and interviewing practices. You demonstrate knowledge of Associated Press Style writing, which is used for all FSU communications, and using a house style guide for exceptions.
