Job Summary:

Coordinates the appointment, credentialing, and re-credentialing processes (under the Manager/Medical Staff Services’ general supervision) for medical and allied health staff members in accordance with Medical Staff Bylaws and The Joint Commission (TJC) standards.
- Responsible for maintaining medical and allied health staff members’ information in existing systems.
- Provides information to requesting departments, hospitals, and agencies.
- Plans, coordinates, and performs administrative activities for medical staff meetings and special affairs; assists the manager and committee chairs with fulfilling required functions.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO APPLY:
Required Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent
Preferred Education: Bachelor's Degree in healthcare or business administration
Required Experience:
- One (1) year of payer enrollment or provider credentialling experience

Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Computer skills.
- Web-based products proficiency.
Required Certification/License/Registry:
None
Preferred Certification/License/Registry: Certified Professional Medical Services Management (CPMSM) or Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) credential(s) from the National Association Medical Staff Services (NAMSS).
