Game Day Operations & Event Specialist Intern

Job Summary

Join our dynamic team as a Game Day Operations & Event Specialist Intern, where you'll play a vital role in orchestrating seamless game day experiences and special events. This paid internship offers a unique opportunity to develop your skills in event management, customer service, and hospitality within a fast-paced sports and entertainment environment. You will assist with planning, coordinating, and executing a variety of events, ensuring every guest has an unforgettable experience while gaining valuable industry insights.

Responsibilities

Support the planning and execution of game day operations and special events, including setup, teardown, and on-site management.
Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to facilitate event marketing efforts and promotional activities.
Deliver exceptional guest services by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a welcoming environment.
Oversee event logistics such as catering arrangements, venue setup, equipment rentals, and hospitality services.
Contribute to post-event evaluations by compiling feedback, analyzing performance metrics, and suggesting improvements for future events.

Skills

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently under tight deadlines.
Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with team members, vendors, clients, and guests.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for planning documents and reports.
Experience with event marketing strategies to promote events and increase attendance.
Demonstrated ability in negotiation and upselling techniques to enhance revenue opportunities.
Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate logistics from inception through execution.
Customer service orientation with a focus on creating positive guest experiences.
