Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of menu items with precision, including techniques such as poaching, braising, grilling, and food production.
Assist in menu planning to ensure diverse and appealing meal options that meet dietary needs and standards.
Follow strict food safety sanitizing procedures to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
Handle food with care, adhering to proper food handling protocols to ensure quality and safety.
Support catering events and high-volume food production, ensuring timely delivery of meals.
Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and equipment in compliance with food safety management practices.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and excellent food service delivery.

Experience

Proven dietary department or dietary aide experience is highly desirable.
Demonstrated culinary experience in fine dining or restaurant settings, showcasing advanced knife skills and cooking techniques such as poaching, braising, grilling, and food preparation.
Experience with food safety management, sanitizing procedures, and high-volume production environments.
Background in food industry roles involving meal preparation, catering, serving, and general kitchen experience.
Strong understanding of food handling standards and safety regulations to ensure compliance at all times.
Prior experience in menu planning and food service operations is a plus.
