Armed Field Security Supervisor
Inner Parish Security Corporation (IPSC) is recruiting for an Armed Field Supervisor to join our highly-regarded team in Tallahassee, FL.
We are looking for a dependable, professional security leader with excellent customer service, communication, and security skills to provide field supervision and support to our officers and clients.
Pay: $19.00 per hour, paid weekly.

25 years of age or older
-
Current Florida Class D Security Officer License
-
Ability to obtain a Florida Class G Armed Security License if not already licensed
-
Prior armed security, supervisory, military, or law enforcement experience is a plus
-
Clean driving record

Valid driver's license

Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen

Professional appearance and demeanor

Strong communication and customer service skills

Ability to work independently and respond appropriately to changing situations
The Armed Field Supervisor provides field support and supervision to security officers while helping ensure that client and company expectations are consistently met.
Responsibilities may include:

Conducting site visits and officer checks

Providing guidance and support to security officers in the field

Monitoring officer performance, appearance, attendance, and post responsibilities

Assisting with scheduling and coverage needs

Communicating with clients, officers, and management professionally

Responding to incidents and emergency situations
-
Completing reports and required documentation accurately
-
Helping ensure officers follow post orders, company policies, and applicable regulations

Assisting with training, coaching, and development of officers
-
Maintaining a professional relationship with clients and security personnel

Performing other field and supervisory duties as assigned
The Armed Field Supervisor must be able to:

Communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, particularly during emergency situations.

Read and interpret written information under a variety of circumstances.

Drive a motor vehicle as required in the course of assigned duties.

Detect and identify sounds relevant to fires, floods, alarm signals, and persons in distress, including against distracting background conditions.

Walk, run, stand, climb, and sit as required.

Make sound decisions quickly and appropriately during emergency situations.

Meet the physical and mental requirements established by the State of Florida for licensed security personnel.

Maintain the required armed and unarmed security licensing status for the position.
