Join Our Team as a Direct Support Professional (DSP)! Location: New Tampa, FL

Position: Full-Time and Part-Time Available Salary: $15 - $17 per hour, based on experience and credentials About Us:

S.A.A. Group Home/S.A.A.C Agency is a trusted Medicaid Waiver provider dedicated to empowering individuals with developmental disabilities. We serve a diverse community, including those with intellectual and physical disabilities, Autism, Down Syndrome, and psychological disorders. Our goal is to enhance the quality of life for the individuals we support through compassionate care and dedicated assistance.

As a Direct Support Professional (DSP), you will help our clients achieve greater independence, foster meaningful connections, and ensure their well-being in a nurturing environment. Your contributions will make a genuine difference in their lives! Key Responsibilities:

- Assist individuals with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management.

- Support clients in social integration and community engagement activities.

- Monitor health and well-being, taking vital signs and reporting any changes.

- Implement individualized care plans tailored to each client’s unique needs.

- Facilitate clear communication between clients, their families, and caregivers.

- Maintain a safe and clean-living environment that promotes independence.

- Document daily activities, progress notes, and any changes in client behavior or health status.

What We’re Looking For: - Compassionate individuals with a strong commitment to improving the lives of those with disabilities. - Experience as a Behavior Assistant or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) preferred. - Ideal candidates will have home care or group home experience. -

Availability on weekends; flexible hours a must.

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent.

- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.

- Clear Level 2 Background Screen & Local Law.

- At least 2 positive employment references and 3 personal references.

- Affidavit of Good Moral Character.

- Completion of Zero Tolerance Training, HIPAA certification, HIV/AIDS training, Direct Care Core Competency, and Medication Administration validation.

- Current First Aid/CPR certification and preferred Behavioral Assistant training or RBT.
