The Inside Sales Specialist primary function is to support the Regional Sales Manager (RSM) with sales growth, establishing and leading sales initiatives in order to realize order bookings. The Inside Sales Specialist will create estimates and follow up on opportunities directly and indirectly with customer base for In Gas Direct, Inc. that have been identified by the RSM or organically through customer initiated contact forms.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Technical:

Support RSM to prospect new business by presenting In Gas Direct, Inc's service capabilities to customers via electronic or in person communications.
Identifying new business by working closely with RSM and local/agent sales channels in conjunction with Management, Operations, DILO Company Inc., and 3rd Party Contractors to develop creative solutions for customer's needs.
Support RSM with training of local/agent sales channels with In Gas Direct Inc. portfolio, capabilities and value propositions.
Collaborate and communicate with local/agent sales representatives to open sales channels for incremental sales volume.
Support RSM team with strategies to develop opportunities and sales pipeline
Attend industry trade shows, prepare commercial proposals, and provide presentations.

Administrative

30% annual domestic/international travel via airline transportation and/or rental vehicle to customer site locations, trade shows, seminars and/or assigned training. This may include weekends and holidays as required.
Communicate with customers verbally and electronically regarding technical specifications, scope of work and work scope requirements.
Foster a culture of continuous process improvement for the sales team
Complete & communicate sales reports, including key opportunities
Create, manage and communicate estimate/proposal and Sales Confirmation templates
Maintain company assigned credit card(s) including expense reports per company policies and requirements
Perform duties with the upmost safety, quality, and professionalism

Qualifications

Education/Training: High School Diploma or equivalent; vocational school, university or college diploma in marketing or sales; or meet or exceed the experience qualifications listed.
Electrical safety, industrial safety (i.e. OSHA, NFPA, etc.) may be acquired post hire.
Specialized knowledge: Sales and marketing in a industrial service sector/environment.
Skills/ Abilities: Interpret customer bids and RFQ’s including terms and conditions, clarifications, drawings/prints related to RFQ’s and bid requests, etc. Have minor electro-mechanical skills and abilities
Demonstrated negotiating skills, conflict management skills, sense of accountability, and having the ability to work with others as required.
Operate computer and mobile phone applications including MS Office tools; Outlook; QuickBooks and other computer related applications as part of the duties and responsibilities listed above.
Possess persuasive presentation and effective communications skills (written and verbal), motivation, and creativity to develop solutions to unique customer opportunities.
Strong and intellectual customer service abilities to provide technical sales support services and respond to customer bid & RFQ requirements within the offering portfolio for On Gas Direct Inc.
Professional Certifications & Licenses: Motor vehicle operator’s license.
Minimum 3 years’ experience in the industrial sales sector or related field.
Experience in working with minimal supervision and guidance to accomplish the duties and responsibilities as outlined above .
