Job Summary

A well-established legal services team in Tampa, FL is seeking an experienced Probate Paralegal to support complex estate administration and probate matters for high-net-worth clients. This direct hire opportunity is ideal for a polished, detail-oriented legal professional with strong probate experience, excellent client communication skills, and the ability to manage sensitive matters with accuracy and discretion.

This role offers the opportunity to join a stable, professional, in-office legal environment with supportive leadership and a collaborative team culture. The Probate Paralegal will work closely with attorneys on meaningful estate and probate matters, contribute to efficient case management, and serve as a trusted point of contact for clients, beneficiaries, courts, financial institutions, and agencies.

The right candidate will thrive in a team-focused setting, enjoy managing multiple probate files from intake through resolution, and bring a proactive approach to deadlines, documentation, and client service.

Key Responsibilities

Assist attorneys with estate administration and probate matters, including petitions, inventories, accountings, notices, and related court filings.
Prepare, review, proofread, and organize legal documents to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with procedural requirements.
Communicate professionally with clients, beneficiaries, courts, financial institutions, and government agencies throughout the probate process.
Conduct legal research using platforms such as Westlaw, LexisNexis, and other legal research tools to support estate and probate matters.
Maintain organized case files using document management and legal practice management systems, ensuring deadlines and documentation are properly tracked.
Support attorneys with drafting correspondence, case summaries, estate planning documents, and other legal materials as needed.

Compensation and Benefits

Direct hire opportunity.
Salary range: $65,000 to $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
Work location: Tampa, FL 33607.
Schedule/work arrangement: 100 percent in office, no remote work.
