Position Overview

76 FENCE Tampa is seeking a highly motivated, relationship-driven Sales & Operations Manager to help lead and grow our business.

This is a high-impact role for someone who is first and foremost a strong closer—someone who thrives in face-to-face sales, builds trust quickly, protects margin, and confidently asks for the sale.

This role also owns the customer experience after the sale by coordinating installation crews, maintaining project quality, driving 5-star reviews, and ensuring every project is completed to company standards.

This is not a desk job.

The right person enjoys being in the field, solving problems, meeting customers, managing subcontractors, and taking ownership of results.

You will be responsible for both:

Driving profitable revenue growth
Protecting customer satisfaction and job quality

Primary Performance KPIs

Success in this role is measured by:

- Protecting pricing discipline and maintaining strong markup targets

- Consistently converting qualified leads into profitable projects

- Driving 5-star reviews and strong customer referrals

- Ensuring projects are completed on time and to company standards

Sales Responsibilities

Meet with homeowners and commercial clients to assess fencing needs and recommend solutions
Deliver a professional, consultative in-home sales experience that builds trust and confidence
Confidently present pricing, overcome objections, and close deals consistently
Protect pricing integrity and maintain healthy gross margins
Prepare accurate estimates, proposals, and contracts
Follow up proactively on leads, referrals, and pending opportunities
Maintain a strong sales pipeline and consistently drive revenue growth
Build long-term customer relationships that generate repeat business and referrals
Maintain accurate records using CRM and sales software such as Jobber

Lead Sources Include:

Company-generated marketing leads
SEO and website appointment requests
Google Ads and Meta advertising
Local advertising campaigns
IVR and answering service inbound opportunities
Referral and relationship-based sales opportunities
Networking through local business organizations and partnerships

Operations & Crew Management Responsibilities

Recruit, vet, and maintain strong relationships with experienced subcontractor installation crews
Coordinate schedules, materials, and installation timelines
Oversee pre-construction planning including:
Property surveys
Easement review
HOA compliance
City and county permitting
Monitor job progress and maintain high standards for workmanship
Ensure projects are completed on time and to company standards
Communicate clearly with customers, subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers
Resolve customer concerns proactively and professionally
Drive final payment collection and customer satisfaction
Secure 5-star customer reviews after successful project completion

What We’re Looking For

A strong closer who is confident in face-to-face sales, comfortable asking for the sale, and skilled at building trust quickly with customers.
Highly organized, strong with follow-through.
Able to work independently without constant oversight.
Take ownership of results, protect pricing discipline and markup, and focus on profitable growth, not just generating revenue.
Comfortable managing subcontractors, coordinating field operations, and maintaining strong customer relationships throughout the full project lifecycle.
Strong communication, professionalism, accountability, and coachability are essential, along with the ability to confidently represent the 76 FENCE brand in the field.
Candidates should have proven experience in home services sales, in-home sales, or construction-related sales, with experience in fencing, roofing, HVAC, windows, solar, remodeling, or similar industries preferred.
Experience using CRM, estimating, scheduling, or project management software is required, with Jobber experience strongly preferred.
Bilingual English/Spanish is strongly preferred.
A valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and ability to attend out-of-state initial training are required.
Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check.

Compensation & Benefits

Base Salary: $60,000 - $70,000

Based on experience.

Compensation includes a strong base salary plus uncapped commission designed to reward profitable closed sales, pricing discipline, protected markup percentages, and successful project completion.

Higher commission payouts are earned by maintaining stronger markup targets and delivering high-quality, profitable projects without unnecessary discounting.

Total Compensation: $80,000 - $95,000+

Typical first-year earnings range based on performance.

Strong performers have significant upside as lead volume, customer relationships, and business growth continue to expand.

Additional performance incentives may be available based on project completion quality, customer satisfaction, 5-star review generation, final payment collection, and on-time delivery.
