Job Posting: Financial Analyst – Job cost specialist (QBO expert)

Location

Tampa, Florida (Local Candidates Only)

Position Summary

We are a fast-growing construction & low-voltage company committed to delivering high-quality projects and excellent service.

As we expand, we are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Analyst to support cash flow management, job costing analysis, financial reporting, and operations. The ideal candidate will have strong Excel skills, experience with QuickBooks Online (QBO), and a background in service-based job costing.

This position requires a hands-on professional who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and available to work 45–50 hours per week as needed.

Key Responsibilities

Create Invoices in QBO.
Perform cash flow analysis and financial forecasting for multiple entities.
Prepare and maintain financial reports.
Manage and analyze job costing for service operations.
Monitor daily banking and treasury activities.
Support budgeting, expense tracking, and cost analysis initiatives.
Maintain accurate records in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
Reconcile accounts and assist with month-end reporting.
Develop and improve financial spreadsheets and reporting tools using Excel.
Assist with operational and financial process improvements.
Support management with financial analysis.

Required Qualifications

· Experience in multi-entity corporations.

Recent experience as Financial Analyst (required)
Strong experience with QuickBooks Online (QBO)- Required.
Expert Excel skills required (assessment test will be provided).
Experience with job costing for service-based businesses.
Strong analytical and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Additional Requirements

Must be willing to work 45–50 hours per week.
Background check required.
Professional references will be verified.
Excel assessment test required during the interview process.
Local Tampa-area candidates only.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in finance or business administration.
Experience in cash flow forecasting, or banking transactions.
Experience improving financial processes and reporting systems.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary: $80,000.00 - $85,000.00 DOE
