Full Job Description

Summary

The Cardiac Sonographer is responsible for providing diagnostic medical sonography services and its various clinical specialties. Additional responsibilities are required, such as maintaining proficiency with echo/ultrasound equipment, communicating with other members of the interprofessional care team, completing daily clerical tasks and providing on-call coverage as scheduled. They will serve as an ambassador for the department as well as the Center by demonstrating exceptional customer service skills.

Position Highlights: • Responsible for the competent and proficient performance of all respiratory and cardiology procedures for critical and basic floor care. The Ideal Candidate: • Will be a Registered Respiratory Therapist. • Has a minimum of 6 months experience as a Respiratory Therapist. • Credentialed by the NBRC as a Registered Respiratory Therapist. Responsibilities: • Competently performs all respiratory and cardiology procedures. • Demonstrates appropriate knowledge in the use of all respiratory and cardiology equipment. • Documents in the hospital computer system all procedures performed per JCAHO requirements and department policies. Credentials and Qualifications: • Completion of a Respiratory Care program is required. • Licensure in the state of Florida in Respiratory therapy is required (RRT) • Current BLS required. • ACLS required.

Salary Range

$42.25 - $42.25

Salary ranges posted for this position represent the expected base pay range for the role. Actual compensation may vary based on location and a variety of job-related factors, including experience, skills, education, and internal equity among Team Members in similar positions.
