Summary:
The Engineer, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Software, is responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining ERP systems, which integrate various business processes across a business, by customizing software solutions and ensuring seamless operation of the ERP system across different departments, often requiring strong technical skills in programming, data analysis, and understanding of specific ERP platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Works closely with Information Technology (IT) ERP analysts and cross-functional business teams in requirements gathering to design and build appropriate ERP solutions that align with business needs.
- Develops custom configurations, integrations, process automations, and custom modules within the ERP system.
- Installs, configures, and deploys ERP components across the organization.
- Transfers data from legacy systems to the new ERP system.
- Performs unit and system testing to ensure functionality and data integrity.
- Identifies and resolves issues within the ERP system, including bug fixes and updates.
- Monitors system performance and implements improvements.
- Manages application data middleware to ensure the exchange of data between applications.
- Reads, interprets, and communicates reports and/or documentation to team members and customers.
- Performs any other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or foreign equivalent and 2 years of public sector experience with customer meetings, support, and Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, and Extensions (RICE) development in a multi-tenant environment for projects, including experience with Infor Financials & Supply Management (FSM) Infor Human Resources (GHR) using Infor’s proprietary technologies in Landmark Infor OS, including Landmark Pattern Language (LPL), Infor Process Automation (IPA), Configuration Console, Landmark Security and ION.
Language Skills: Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instruction, and procedure manuals. Write routine reports and correspondence. Speak effectively before groups of individuals.
Mathematical Skills: Add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Compute rate, ratio, and percent and draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability: Apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills: Infor Financials & Supply Management (FSM) Infor Human Resources (GHR) using Infor's proprietary technologies in Landmark Infor OS, including Landmark Pattern Language (LPL), Infor Process Automation (IPA), Configuration Console, Landmark Security and ION.
Physical Demands:
Physical Activities: Standing, walking, sitting, handling, keyboarding, talking, and hearing.
Lifting Demands: Up to 10 pounds.
Reaching Activities: Both dominant and non-dominant hand; overhead.
Environmental Conditions: Noise intensity: 3, moderate.
