Job Title: Flooring Project Manager

Spanning a state-of-the-art 20,000-square-foot showroom, we are expanding our team to include skilled designers passionate about transforming spaces. Join us in delivering exceptional design solutions in cabinetry, kitchens, and baths.

Job Summary:

As a Flooring Project Manager, you will manage and oversee the execution of flooring projects from start to finish, ensuring they adhere to our high standards of quality and efficiency. This role requires effective coordination across various teams and stakeholders, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget. You will conduct regular site visits, manage client interactions, and lead a subcontracted installer team, emphasizing seamless project execution and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management: Efficiently execute projects from start to finish, ensuring they meet quality standards and stay within budget.
Site Oversight: Perform daily site visits and oversee all aspects of the project installation process.
Communication: Regularly update stakeholders on project status, providing detailed reports and progress photos through Netsuite and other communication platforms.
Quality Assurance: Inspect all installations to confirm they meet project specifications and compliance standards.
Problem Solving: Address and resolve issues with installation teams or clients promptly to avoid delays.
Client Relations: Engage with clients regularly, ensuring all interactions are documented for transparency and continuity.
Regulatory Adherence: Guarantee compliance with all applicable building codes and safety regulations.
Operational Management: Monitor project metrics such as timelines and financial margins and contribute to refining organizational policies and procedures.

Management Duties:

Team Leadership: Direct and coordinate the activities of subcontracted installers, ensuring strict adherence to project timelines and specifications.

Requirements:

Education: High School Diploma or GED; a minimum of 4 years of experience in project management.
Skills: Proficient in construction management with a deep understanding of construction protocols. Highly skilled in project management software and able to interpret blueprints and construction documents.
Attributes: Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills. Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Additional Requirements: Clean driving record; ownership of a truck is preferred.

Language Proficiency:

Languages: Fluency in both English and Spanish.
Communication Skills: Excellent in both written and verbal communication.

Physical and Work Environment:

Physical Requirements: Must navigate diverse job site conditions and manage varying weather situations. Must be comfortable with prolonged periods of sitting and typing.
Work Setting: Mix of office and on-site environments; exposure to typical construction site conditions is expected.
