Job Details:

Concertium is looking for a Cyber Security Engineering Supervisor to join our team. This is a key role in protecting our and our client’s assets and information. A cyber security engineering supervisor must display an exceptional understanding of team development, technology infrastructure using Firewalls, VPN, Data Loss Prevention, IDS/IPS, Web and Email Proxies, SIEMs, EDR or XDRs, and Security Assessments. Top candidates will be comfortable working with a variety of technologies, security problems, and troubleshooting multiple environments. They will also collaborate across our teams to provide value-added analysis of potential threats and make mitigation recommendations for Concertium and their clients. The Cyber Security Engineering Supervisor must maintain knowledge of the current cyber-threat landscape and the MITRE ATT&CK framework. This position has lead/supervisory responsibilities and will be a senior resource from a subject matter expertise perspective.

Key Job Responsibilities:

Lead/supervise the security team to include: workload orchestration, ticket/project execution, escalations, and incident response
Planning, implementing, leading, monitoring, and upgrading security measures for the protection of Concertium’s and clients data, systems, and environment aligned to security best practices.
Troubleshooting solutions for security challenges.
Responding to all system and/or security breaches.
Ensuring that Concertium’s and clients’ data and infrastructure are protected by recommending and enabling the appropriate security controls.
Participating in the change and configuration management process.
Testing and identifying network and system vulnerabilities.
Daily administrative tasks, reporting, and communication with the relevant departments within Concertium.
Research security weaknesses and find ways to counter them.
Develop and implement best practices and cyber security standards for Concertium and their clients.
Utilize SIEM/SOAR/XDR/EDR and various other emerging tools (Shieldwatch XDR, ConnectWise, Sentinel One, Microsoft Sentinel, SureShield, CrowdStrike, DUO, etc.) to monitor alerts and security events of client networks and systems.
Strong knowledge of common cloud platforms, with Microsoft Azure being preferred.
Azure GCC/High tenant security administration
Continually improve cybersecurity expertise.
Must be willing to work shift work, 24x7 environment.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Excellent communication/presentation skills, with the ability to build relationships.
Experience analyzing and administering Cloud/SaaS/Networking and Network Security Solutions including Managed Detection and Response, Next Gen Firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM Solutions, SOAR, Cloud Security, End Point
Experience with Azure GCC/High and IL4/IL9 hardening standards is a plus
Security, Vulnerability and Penetration Testing Services.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, systems engineering, or related qualification.
3 years of work experience with incident detection, incident response, and forensics.
Experience with Cloud solutions (Azure preferred), networking, firewalls, monitoring and countermeasures, Office 365 Security, VMware, SIEM, Vulnerability Management Solutions, Ticketing systems, and Endpoint Security.
Proficiency in Copilot, Claude, Python, and Power Shell.
3+ years’ experience performing cyber security assessments.
Ability to prioritize projects or triage cyber security events and/or incidents.
Ability to work under pressure in a demanding environment.
Strong attention to detail with an analytical mind and outstanding critical thinking skills.
Great awareness of cybersecurity trends and hacking techniques.
An understanding of best practices and how to implement them at an enterprise level.
Knowledge of compliance process and regulatory requirements such as: HIPAA, PCI, and NIST-800 is preferred, but not required.
Certifications such as CISSP, GSEC, CDPSE, or CISM are desired.
Must be a US Citizen

Physical Requirements:

Expected Hours of Work:

This position is intended to be full-time, 40 hours/week.

Travel:

Little to no travel is expected for this position but will occasionally go onsite to client locations.
