Full Job Description

Standard Job Description

Performs a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies such as modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, and cables. Works from diagrams and drawings, makes initial layouts, and uses hand and/or power tools, jigs, and saws. Makes continuity checks on work in process and completed. May conduct quality inspections on processing line in accordance with quality specifications. May disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications and under simulated conditions.

Basic Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
1+ years of experience in cable assembly, wire harness building, or related electronics manufacturing (or equivalent training).
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, wire lists, and assembly instructions.
Proficiency with hand tools (crimpers, strippers, soldering iron, cutters).
Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a production environment.
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive hand/wrist motions.

Desired Skills

Proficiency with hand tools - Experience using wire strippers, crimpers, cutters, and soldering irons to accurately terminate and assemble cables.
Ability to read technical drawings - Comfortable interpreting blueprints, wire lists, and work instructions to correctly build cable assemblies.
Strong attention to detail - Ability to consistently produce clean, accurate workmanship with correct wire routing, terminations, and labeling.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $35600.00 - $66000.00

For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
