Full Job Description

Position Summary:

Job Summary:

Performs financial functions for grant awards and restricted funds.

Monitors and reviews grant expenditures and reconciles financial transactions. Ensures accuracy and compliance with grant requirements, College policies and procedures, generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), and federal, state, and local regulations. Works with payroll on grant related compensation issues and costing allocations. Prepares and submits requests for reimbursements to the grantors/funding agencies. Prepares budget amendments, journal entries, and accounting adjustments. Collaborates with principal investigators (PIs) and the grants management team (pre-award) to provide information and answer questions. Performs related duties as assigned. Ability to use Microsoft Office software to include Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Teams is required. Experience with Workday or other higher education software is preferred.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree and at least three years of prior-related work experience.
