Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of patient care, demonstrate exceptional clinical skills, and have experience working across diverse medical settings. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives by providing compassionate, evidence-based nursing care in a dynamic environment. The successful applicant will be responsible for delivering high-quality care, coordinating treatment plans, and ensuring compliance with healthcare standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

Perform thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and medical history documentation using electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic or Cerner.
Administer medications and injections accurately, including IV infusions, medication administration, and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety.
Assist with diagnostic evaluations such as laboratory specimen collection, processing, and interpreting results to support clinical decision-making.
Provide specialized care for patients with complex needs, including those requiring dialysis, ventilator management, or post-operative care in surgical or ICU settings.
Manage acute pain and chronic conditions through appropriate interventions, including wound suturing and pain management strategies.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in emergency medicine, trauma centers, or critical care units to deliver comprehensive patient-centered care.
Educate patients and their families on health management, discharge planning, and disease prevention strategies aligned with HIPAA regulations and medical terminology standards.
Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain sterile processing procedures to uphold safety standards across all clinical activities.

Experience

Proven experience working as a Registered Nurse in diverse healthcare environments such as hospital medicine, emergency rooms, ICU, PICU (Pediatric Intensive Care Unit), or neonatal units.
Demonstrated proficiency with EMR/EHR systems including Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth, or eClinicalWorks for accurate medical documentation and records management.
Extensive knowledge of anatomy and physiology applicable to adult and pediatric patient populations; familiarity with ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10) for diagnostic classification.
Experience providing specialized nursing care in areas such as geriatrics, behavioral health, hospice & palliative medicine, or long-term care facilities including assisted living and nursing homes.
Skilled in performing complex procedures such as catheterization (urinary or cardiac), tube feeding management, ostomy care, or spinal taps within a trauma or Level I/II trauma center setting.
Critical care experience involving ventilator management, trauma medicine protocols, infectious disease care, or post-operative recovery is highly desirable.
Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments like urgent care centers or outpatient clinics while maintaining high standards of patient assessment and medical documentation.
