About the Opportunity
As the Quality Assurance Compliance Coordinator at Monin, you will be responsible for overseeing and maintaining supplier compliance, certification programs, and quality documentation systems to ensure regulatory, food safety, and customer requirements are met. This position serves as the primary administrator for the company's digital supplier management platform, coordinating supplier onboarding, document control, certification activities, and compliance monitoring.

The coordinator will follow Monin standards, Good Manufacturing Practices, Safe Quality Food requirements and FDA guidelines for safe production of food products. Communicating daily workflows to accomplish daily goals without compromising employee and product safety.

What You’ll Do

Main administrator that collaborates with Purchasing, R&D, Quality, and Regulatory teams to lead compliance with the Approved Supplier Program by onboarding new suppliers and ensuring all required documentation is submitted, reviewed, current, and maintained within the digital supplier management platform.
Monitor supplier compliance status and proactively communicate with suppliers regarding expiring certifications, questionnaires, specifications, audits, insurance documents, and other required records.
Serve as the primary contact for Kosher and Halal certification bodies, coordinating facility inspections, product registrations, annual renewals, and certification documentation.
Manage the submission, maintenance, and recordkeeping processes required to ensure organic materials and products remain compliant with National Organic Program (NOP) requirements and certification standards.
Notifying the area supervisor or management of potential food safety issues.
Maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Following applicable laboratory GMPs, SOPs, and SQF policies.
Supporting continuous improvements of food safety programs.
Backup for Quality Control Technician during vacations as needed.

Other Qualifications & Considerations:

Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Quality Assurance, Business Administration, Regulatory Affairs, or a related field preferred.
Experience maintaining electronic document control systems and digital compliance platforms.
Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with suppliers, customers, auditors, and internal stakeholders.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy when reviewing technical and regulatory documentation.
Strong problem-solving skills and a continuous improvement mindset.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
Working knowledge of basic food safety and manufacturing practices preferred.
