Full Job Description

As an Account Manager with MacDonald Industrial Supply, use your sales expertise to help our customers realize their business goals with product solutions you're proud to deliver.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Actively manage and grow accounts in a unique territory. This will include a large, pre-existing customer base.
Use our huge catalog with over 36,000 items to sell product solutions to large and small companies.
Use your outside sales experience to prospect and develop new, exciting business relationships.
Understand each customer's needs to provide real, effective solutions.
Deliver exceptional customer service.

CANDIDATES:

Be able to nurture prospects and build relationships.
Have a proven track record of strong support for quantifying sales capabilities.
Be able to think on their feet.
Have business-to-business (B2B) sales experience. ( Industrial sales preferred)

Computer use competency.
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Must have a sales-hunting mindset.

Solid base salary ($42,000 - $48,000 DOE), and UNCAPPED commission with potential 6 figures income.

Minimum Requirements

3+ years outside sales representative experience.
A valid driver’s license.
Excellent driving record.
Ability to thrive in a dynamic, exciting work environment.
Detail oriented and hardworking
Excellent interpersonal, communication, problem-solving and presentation skills are a must.
