About Us:

North Alabama Specialty Hospital specializes in the management of critical care patients with complex medical needs. Services provided include ventilator management and weaning, infectious disease management, and complex wound care. North Alabama Specialty Hospital is managed by Priority Hospital Group and is part of a joint venture with Huntsville Hospital.

Job Description:

The RN provides direct patient care in a critical care setting, uses critical thinking to assess patients and anticipate changes in condition, and participates in the interdisciplinary functions of the hospital. North Alabama Specialty Hospital values a collaborative approach between our nursing team, medical staff, and the administrative team to provide high quality patient outcomes.

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, Experience Required:

Education: Graduate of Accredited School of Nursing with current Alabama licensure or multistate license.

Experience: Hospital experience required; ICU experience preferred. New graduates accepted

Additional Skill/Abilities: BLS required, ACLS required within 6 months. Ventilator and tracheostomy experience preferred.
