Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented EXPO to join our dynamic hospitality team. As an integral part of our restaurant operations, the EXPO will serve as the vital link between the kitchen and front-of-house staff, ensuring that food is prepared, plated, and delivered to guests with precision and timeliness. This role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about food service, culinary excellence, and delivering exceptional customer experiences. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate excellent communication skills, and possess a strong understanding of food safety and organizational practices. Paid training and ongoing development are provided to help you succeed and grow within our team.

Responsibilities

Coordinate between kitchen staff and servers to ensure timely food preparation and delivery
Verify orders for accuracy, presentation, and quality before serving to guests
Communicate effectively with kitchen staff regarding special requests or modifications
Expedite food from the kitchen to ensure prompt service during busy periods
Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety
Support food handling procedures in accordance with health regulations and safety standards
Maintain organization of plates, utensils, and service stations to streamline operations
Assist with bussing tables and clearing dishes to support overall restaurant flow
Monitor food temperatures and presentation to uphold quality standards
Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests

Qualifications

Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred
Strong knowledge of food preparation, expediting, and food handling techniques
Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with kitchen staff, servers, and management
Familiarity with POS (Point of Sale) systems for order tracking and processing
Demonstrated organizational skills to manage multiple orders efficiently
Understanding of food safety protocols and sanitation standards
Experience in banquet settings or hotel dining environments is a plus
Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced setting
Basic numeracy skills for order accuracy and inventory management
Hospitality background that emphasizes customer service excellence
