Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Supervising Therapist to lead our clinical team in delivering exceptional mental health and behavioral services. In this vital role, you will oversee the provision of comprehensive therapeutic care, supervise therapists and support staff, and ensure the highest standards of patient-centered treatment. Your leadership will foster a collaborative environment focused on innovative interventions, evidence-based practices, and compassionate care for diverse populations, including children, adolescents, and adults with various mental health conditions and developmental disabilities. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact while advancing your management and clinical expertise in a supportive setting.

Responsibilities

Provide supervision and mentorship to licensed therapists, behavioral specialists, and support staff to promote professional growth and ensure compliance with clinical standards.
Oversee clinical operations, including intake assessments, diagnostic evaluations, treatment planning, and progress monitoring for individuals across multiple settings.
Lead the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans utilizing modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and applied behavior analysis (ABA).
Manage crisis intervention efforts effectively, ensuring safety protocols are followed during emergencies involving clients with mental health conditions or co-occurring disorders.
Coordinate group therapy sessions, family counseling, and community-based services to support holistic patient care.
Maintain accurate medical documentation in electronic health records (EHR), ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and medical terminology standards.
Conduct regular case reviews, quality assurance audits, and staff performance evaluations to uphold clinical excellence.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams—including social workers, educators, medical professionals—and engage families in treatment processes.
Stay current with clinical research developments and integrate best practices into service delivery to enhance patient outcomes.

Experience

Proven supervisory experience within behavioral health or mental health settings, demonstrating effective team leadership and management skills.
Extensive background working with children, adolescents, or individuals with developmental disabilities such as autism spectrum disorder (ASD) or neurodevelopmental disorders.
Strong expertise in evidence-based therapies including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), behavioral management techniques, motivational interviewing, and applied behavior analysis (ABA).
Experience conducting intake assessments, diagnostic evaluations using ICD-10/ICD-9 coding systems, and managing electronic health records (EHR/EHR) systems compliant with HIPAA standards.
Familiarity with crisis management protocols for clients experiencing acute mental health episodes or substance use crises.
Knowledge of medical terminology related to mental health conditions and addiction counseling practices.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse populations across pediatric and adult settings—particularly those requiring special education or hospital-based services—and manage complex cases involving co-occurring disorders.
Prior experience in research or clinical data collection is advantageous for continuous quality improvement initiatives.
