About ABC:

The Association to Benefit Children (ABC) is dedicated to bringing joy and warmth to disadvantaged children and their families through compassionate, sustainable, comprehensive, and integrated services, designed to permanently break the cycles of abuse, neglect, sickness and homelessness. ABC's humane and innovative programs include early childhood education, health care services, housing assistance, mental health services, family preservation, crisis intervention, recreational services, job training and employment assistance, therapeutic after school and summer day camp programs, mentoring and legal advocacy.

The Association to Benefit Children (ABC) currently has a Supervisor position available at All Children’s House, its primary preventive services program on 102nd St and 1st Ave.

Job Summary: Responsible for providing supervision to 4 therapists, 1 caseworker and additional support staff. Responsible for a small caseload; providing intensive home based therapeutic intervention to child(ren) and their care giver in the context of a child welfare program designed to reduce the risk of abuse or neglect and related child welfare involvement.

Essential Functions

· Provides weekly clinical, administrative, and reflective supervision to CPP therapists.

· Coordinates and participates in all required training and credentialing activities to gain expertise and insure fidelity to the CPP model.

· Provides individual supervision focusing on therapist development and utilization of the model.

· Completes job performance evaluations and provides professional development support on a regular basis.

· Reviews weekly case summaries submitted by therapists and provides written feedback.

· Evaluates appropriateness of service plans (FASPs) and approves these based upon an understanding of any safety/risk concerns in the family and the service needs of the children and parents.

· Conducts chart reviews of each supervisee to ensure that documentation are in compliance with ACS/OCFS mandates.

· Provides CPP treatment to families

· Continuous assessment of safety and risk of each youth in the home in accordance to ACS policy.

· Utilization of PROMIS (ACS system) for entering client contacts.

· Provides case management support to linkages and referrals to additional support services and plans for termination.

· Assist in coordination of special projects and outreach for program development

· Assist in the interviewing process.

· Orients new staff to program policy and procedures.

· Participate in training, supervision and consultation activities

· Adhere to fidelity of CPP model. Work within model structure, regarding length of treatment, case contacts, interventions, supervision and documentation

· Integrate regulatory standards into CPP treatment approach to monitor risk and safety concerns

· Attends case conferences, CPP and ACS trainings, staff meetings and supervision.

· May supervise interns

· Covers in the absence of Program Director

· Other duties assigned by Program Director

Qualifications

· LCSWor LMSW required with 1,000 clinical hours

· Clinical experience strongly preferred; clinical child welfare practice experience is a plus

· Knowledge of ACS preventive services system required; experience with child welfare evidence based models preferred

· Experience with Connections and PROMIS strongly preferred

· Demonstrated ability to create a positive work environment and foster staff development required.

· Bilingual English/Spanish is highly desired.

· SIFI Certification a plus but not required.

· Fully Vaccinated
