LA Bridal Stylist — Weekend Position

Job Description

Classification: Non-Exempt

Department: Sales and Retail

Schedule: Friday, Saturday, and/or Sunday (weekend-focused, part-time). This role is built around our highest-traffic days, when the majority of bridal appointments take place.

Compensation: Hourly base pay plus commission on sales.

Posting Status: This is an ongoing (evergreen) posting. We're building our applicant pipeline and hire selectively when the right candidate is found — there is no fixed application deadline.

Summary/Objective

The LA Bridal Stylist's primary responsibility is promoting and selling the bride her entire ensemble (gown, accessories, and accompanying looks) while providing superior customer service to grow sales and profitability. This is a weekend-focused role — Friday through Sunday — built around the days when the appointment book is fullest and client-facing selling is the core of the job. Other duties include complying with all company standards, policies, and procedures, gaining industry product knowledge along with resale trends, and assisting in daily administrative tasks to ensure smooth business operations.

Weekend Focus (Friday–Sunday)

Weekend shifts are the heart of this role and center on direct client-facing selling:

Conduct scheduled bridal appointments, guiding brides through gown, accessory, and full-ensemble selection
Meet and exceed individual selling and conversion goals
Deliver a white-glove, high-touch client experience consistent with LTB's boutique standards
Manage a full, back-to-back appointment book with strong pacing and time management
Complete opening and closing procedures for the boutique
Handle walk-in traffic, phone calls, and general reception duties during business hours
Partner with your supervisor in real time to resolve any customer or merchandise issues that arise during appointments
Maintain the sales floor, dressing rooms, and common areas in a clean, organized, guest-ready state throughout the day

If a Weekday Shift Is Scheduled

This position is weekend-based, but on the occasions a weekday shift is scheduled, the focus shifts from live selling to behind-the-scenes boutique operations that support the weekend experience:

Inventory management and consignment intake processing
Steaming and prepping gowns for upcoming appointments
Organizing and resetting the sales floor and stockroom
Assisting with new gown release marketing (photos and descriptions)
General administrative support — email, phone follow-ups, and light reception duties during quieter hours
Deepening product knowledge and staying current on resale/bridal trends

Weekday shifts are a lower-appointment-volume opportunity to keep the boutique running beautifully and to build the product expertise that drives weekend sales performance.
