Job Description Sonny's Hamburgers is a full service restaurant located in Detroit, Michigan looking to hire full/ part line cook and prep with experience & efficiency. The team member will report directly to the location to work along side other team members to be actively involved in the day-to-day routine of business operation task / procedures

Looking for candidates with the following:

High school diploma or equivalent
In- depth knowledge of restaurant best practices and cooking methods
Supply their own reliable transportation.
Ability to skillfully multitask in a cooperatively efficiently in a team.
Great communication, leadership, organizational skills.
Knowledge of safety procedures, including safe temperatures at which ingredients must be kept and to which food must be prepared to avoid foodborne illness.
Ability to work as part of a team, collaborating on complex dishes
Interpersonal skills to interact with a variety of other people, such as waitstaff, dishwashers, management and sometimes customers
Calm demeanor to work in a high-stress, fast-paced environment
Accountability for the dishes they prepare measuring up to the expectations of management and customers alike
Comprehension and organization to follow direct orders and procedures and to correctly prepare dishes to the standards of the restaurant
Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination to handle tools, such as knife techniques for chopping, slicing, cutting and dicing
Ability to stand in one place for hours at a time and handle extreme heat and various work shifts
Honest and Trustworthy
Pays Attention to detail
Outstanding work ethic

All team members must be able to handle the following physical tasks;

Lift 30lb to 50lb bag of onions
Empty grease trap for disposal.
Work in confined spaces.

*Job full or part-time

Pay: starting rate $13.00-$19..00 plus tips/ bonuses
