Full Job Description

Join the Tableaux Team

Tableaux Architectural Panels (http://tableaux.com) is a leading designer and manufacturer of custom architectural panels used in commercial and residential projects.

We are looking for an experienced Full-Charge Bookkeeper to join our team full-time.

This position is ideal for someone who genuinely enjoys bookkeeping, likes keeping things organized and accurate, and wants to be an important part of a friendly, creative, and established company.

We are not looking for an entry-level bookkeeper. We are looking for someone who can confidently manage all the day-to-day accounting functions with minimal supervision and take pride in maintaining accurate financial records.

What You'll Be Doing

Accounting & Bookkeeping

Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
Record and maintain daily financial transactions
Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and other balance sheet accounts
Process bi-weekly payroll
Prepare and file sales tax reports
Maintain accurate general ledger records
Perform month-end and year-end closing activities
Prepare reports for management and our CPA
Help identify and correct accounting discrepancies
Maintain organized accounting records and documentation

Administrative Support

Answer and route phone calls, handle mail and general office administration
Perform data entry and general administrative support
Help maintain a positive and welcoming office environment, plan events, decorate for holidays, anniversaries, birthdats, etc.
Support management with projects and special assignments

Qualifications

Energetic, warm, and people-oriented personality
Positive and professional attitude
3+ years of full-charge bookkeeping experience
Strong QuickBooks Online & Quickbooks Desktop experience (will be tested)
Expert-level organizational skills and attention to detail
Proficiency with Google Drive, Google Sheets, Google Docs, and Gmail
Strong written and verbal English communication skills
Ability to multi-task and stay flexible in a fast-paced environment
Experience with month-end and year-end closings
Experience handling both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
Experience performing bank and credit card reconciliations
Payroll processing and Sales tax reporting experience

Preferred

Manufacturing bookkeeping experience
Job costing experience
Familiarity with inventory-based businesses
