Overview:
Highlight is seeking a systems architect/engineer to join an upcoming team supporting United States Air Force's Business Enterprise Systems - Core Financial Systems Section. This individual will have experience supporting Integrated Accounts Payable System (IAPS).
Responsibilities:
- Maintaining and improving the performance of existing software code
-
Designing and updating software databases under contract and direction from the assigned Government Product Manager

All testing, evaluation, and resolution of software integration, patching, and other troubleshooting issues.
Qualifications:
- BES Core Financial Systems Section Integrated Accounts Payable System (IAPS).

5 years' experience in full stack development to include Java, Web services, Database, and/or web application development.

3 years' experience with agile and lean philosophies
-
2 years' experience with DevSecOps tools and processes to include, but not limited to Git, Concourse, SonarQube, Fortify and Sysdig

2 years' experience with container technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes.

2 years' experience providing system administration support to a diverse set of Operating Systems (Microsoft Windows, Linux, etc.)

Experience with Continuous Delivery and Continuous Integration techniques
