Position Overview
We are seeking a creative and dependable freelance content coordinator to help us maintain a consistent, polished and authentic presence through email marketing and Instagram.
This is a small, clearly defined monthly engagement that may be particularly well suited to an emerging marketer, recent graduate or freelancer looking to build a portfolio with an established local business.
We are not looking for high-volume or overly produced social media. We want thoughtful content that captures the personality of our store, educates our clients and keeps Manno Clothing visible and relevant.
Monthly Deliverables
- Create, format and schedule two email campaigns using Mailchimp
- Create three Instagram posts, which may include static images or carousels
- Develop, film and edit one original Instagram reel
- Work in conjunction with staff to write email copy, subject lines, Instagram captions and calls to action
- Develop a simple monthly content plan for approval
- Schedule and publish approved Instagram content
- Maintain a consistent visual style and brand voice
- Provide a brief monthly summary of email and Instagram performance
Content Creation
The freelancer will be responsible for developing content ideas and turning them into finished material. Manno Clothing will provide access to merchandise, employees, store information, existing photographs and upcoming events or promotions.
The role may include one scheduled visit to our Plymouth store each month to capture photographs and video for the reel and other content. The freelancer should be comfortable directing simple in-store content and editing short-form video independently.

Ideal Candidate
- Strong writing, editing and visual communication skills
- Experience with Mailchimp or a similar email marketing platform
- Familiarity with Instagram posts, carousels and reels
- Comfortable filming and editing short-form video
- Experience with Canva, CapCut or similar creative tools
- Organized, responsive and able to meet agreed-upon deadlines
- Able to create content that feels refined, personal and authentic
- An interest in fashion, retail, small business or local storytelling is helpful
Professional experience is welcome but not required. Student projects, personal accounts and developing portfolios will be considered if they demonstrate strong judgment and creativity.
Compensation and Structure
- $500 per month as an independent freelance contractor
- Initial 90-day engagement, with the opportunity to continue
- Approximately one scheduled in-store content session per month
- Flexible schedule outside of agreed deadlines and content visits
- Additional work beyond the stated monthly deliverables must be approved and priced separately
- This position does not include daily account monitoring, community management, paid advertising or responding to customer messages
