Overview
Join our dedicated team as an In Home Caregiver and make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals requiring personalized care and support. This vital role involves providing compassionate, hands-on assistance to enhance independence, safety, and quality of life for clients in their own homes. Whether assisting with daily activities, administering medications, or offering emotional support, you’ll be a trusted partner in their well-being. We are committed to fostering a positive environment where your caregiving skills are valued and your efforts truly matter.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using tools like Hoyer lifts when necessary
Monitor patients’ health by taking vital signs, observing changes, and reporting findings to healthcare professionals
Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal planning and cooking
Administer medications accurately following care plans and maintain detailed documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations
Support clients with cognitive impairments such as dementia or Alzheimer’s disease through memory care techniques and patient observation
Perform light housekeeping duties including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe living environment
Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement personalized care plans that promote overall well-being

Skills

Proven experience in home health, assisted living, nursing home settings, or group homes with a focus on senior care or disability support
Strong knowledge of patient monitoring, medication administration, and vital signs measurement
Certified in CPR and First Aid; familiarity with hospice care and dementia or Alzheimer’s care is highly desirable
Ability to work effectively with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, or other special needs
Excellent communication skills for working closely with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and assist with mobility aids such as Hoyer lifts or resident’s <PERSON> lifts
Knowledge of HIPAA compliance to ensure confidentiality and privacy of patient information
