COUNTRY PLACE
Job Title: Sous Chef

Country Place is a high volume restaurant and tavern in Perkasie. We are looking for an experienced full time sous chef. The ideal candidate should have experience working all stations on the line. $60-$65/year depending on experience. Paid vacation after one year.
Duties:

Work in tandem with the kitchen manager to ensure kitchen is running smoothly and staff is being managed.
Prepare the basic components of each dish on our menu using our proven recipes.
Memorize and utilize our serving portion sizes and all basic meal prep procedures used in the kitchen.
Ensure that the kitchen, all food prep areas, and all food storage areas meet restaurant cleaning standards.
Work with a team of cooks to do portion prep work for other shifts when needed.
Monitor product freshness and rotate out old product based on a schedule created by the restaurant.

Qualifications:

Ability to work on your feet for eight hours or more a day.
High level of professionalism.
Ability to work under pressure and maintain composure in a stressful environment.
Comfortable working with a team in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Excellent verbal communication and organization skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
